![]() Once a Chosen is encountered, it has 0% chance to appear on the next two missions, 50% chance to appear on the 3rd, and a 100% chance to appear on the fourth.Without 'Lost and Abandoned', you will encounter the first chosen during the first retaliation mission. For once we'll be the ones that are hunted! I'm not sure how all of this will work in terms of gameplay, but as a concept I must admit its pretty damn interesting. In other words, expect to see them kidnap and interrogate your soldiers in order to harm your future operations, but also sabotage your headquarters in an effort to slow you down. Unlike your usual opponents that mostly play fair and fight against you in organized combat, The Chosen prefer to instead attack only where it hurts the most. Out of all the new content coming in with War of the Chosen it is The Chosen themselves that are the most interesting. So if you're up for a little sneak peek you'll find the trailer right below: ![]() ![]() While the announcement trailer barely offers a glimpse at some of the new enemies and weapons, it does a really good job of showcasing The Chosen and the overall direction the story is heading in. The War of the Chosen expansion is aiming to greatly extend the original story, while also adding three new resistance factions, new enemies, missions, environments, and plenty of new toys to play around with. If you're thinking about doing a second playthrough of XCOM 2 you might want to put it on hold for a little while as Firaxis has recently announced a massive expansion. ![]()
